Antique Uranium/ Vaseline Glass Silver Plate Pickle Castor

Available is an antique Victorian uranium/vaseline glass pickle castor with a silver plate stand and tongs. The base is marked “Derby Silver of Derby 104” on the bottom. There is also a mark indicating if it is triple or quadruple plate but it is faded and hard to make out. The glass fluoresces under UV light.

This piece is in good antique condition. There are a few small chips along the inside rim fo the castor that are visible to the eye when the lid is off, and can be felt with your fingers.  All flaws are detailed and noted in the photos so please take a close look.  The stand is in good condition with general age-related wear. The glass, stand, and tongs may be a married set. Please see all photos for the best visual representation.
